Why do I need to subscribe to eSign even though I have a paid for a license of Foxit PDF Editor?

Issue:

When you try to apply signatures onto the file via Foxit eSign feature, you may see a pop-up message as below.

The main reason why you received this notification message is that the eSign service require a separate subscription license which your current subscription plan/license key of Foxit PDF Editor does not include the Foxit eSign.

Solution:

For users who just need ink-based signatures to complete the part of the signing process, you may turn into Fill&Sign feature under Protect tab, which is an internal tool allowing users to create their own hand-write/typed/imported/pasted signatures.

Also, there are two approaches to hide the Foxit eSign tab to prevent this message showing again.

1. Go to Help, Foxit Plug-Ins, find and turn off the Foxit Sign plugin.
2. Check the “Disable all features which require internet connection” in General section under Preferences.

Both these two operations will take effect after you restart the program.
