There are two optional licensing models in Foxit PDF Editor: Perpetual licensing and Subscription licensing. When placing order for Foxit PDF Editor on Foxit online store, we could choose the licensing type from the listed options.

Perpetual licensing model
For perpetual licensing, Foxit PDF Editor is licensed per user and per device. The policy is subject to the EULA of Foxit PDF Editor.
· Activate your registration key
There are two different ways to start activation.
A) Upon opening Foxit PDF Editor, you’ll see Foxit PDF Editor activation window, click Activate to open the activation dialog box. If you are able to launch Foxit PDF Editor directly without getting the activation window, please click Help menu > Activate, then the activation procedures will start.
B) Run Foxit Foxit PDF Editor Activation.exe by selecting Start > All Programs > Foxit PDF Editor > Activation.
Since you purchased perpetual license, copy and paste your registration key to the box under Perpetual License in the pop-up Foxit PDF Editor Activation window, and click Activate.
· Check activation status
To check if you have activated Foxit PDF Editor successfully, please select Help > About Foxit PDF Editor > License Information and see if your name will appear as the licensee in the window.
· Transfer perpetual license
To transfer Foxit PDF Editor to a new machine, you need to deactivate the license key from the old machine. You may refer to the deactivation instructions here.

Subscription licensing model
For subscription licensing, Foxit PDF Editor is licensed per account. The policy is subject to the EULA of Foxit PDF Editor.
· Activate your subscription
There are two different ways to start activation:
A) Upon opening Foxit PDF Editor, you’ll see Foxit PDF Editor activation window, click Activate > Sign In, input your email and password to activate;
B) In Foxit PDF Editor’s trial mode, click Activate in the toolbar or click Sign In button at the top right corner then input your email and password to activate.
· Check activation status
To check if you have activated Foxit PDF Editor successfully, please select Help > About Foxit PDF Editor > License Information and see if your email address will appear as the licensee in the window.
· Transfer subscription license
You may log into your Foxit account on any of your computers, go to Help > Manage > click the X to remove authorization of the unwanted computer from the list.

To manage your multiple members with Foxit PDF Editor, you may log into Foxit account with your Administrator account at https://www.foxit.com/#, go to My Orders >Subscription Management to add or remove your members.

For users who purchased multi-licenses of subscription from Foxit sales representative
To manage your multiple members with Foxit PDF Editor, please login to Foxit App Store with your Administrator account at https://appstore.foxit.com/site/signin , go to Manage Organization/Members, click your organization name and add or remove your members.

After you add a new member, the member will receive an email notification with the subject line “The admin of organization (ORG NAME) has added you into the org” if the member already has a Foxit account. If the member doesn’t have a Foxit account, he will be sent a sign-up email with the subject line "The organization (ORG NAME) administrator is inviting you to join" to create a Foxit account then join the ORG automatically.
After you remove a member, the member will receive an email with the subject line “The admin of organization(xxx) has removed you from the org.”
· Purchase additional subscription
If you purchased subscription from online store, you may be able to purchase additional subscription under My account>Subscription Management>Purchase Additional Subscription.

Manage licenses with Admin Console
If you‘re an IT administrator who would like to manage Foxit licenses on your side, Foxit Admin Console would be great choice. The Foxit Admin Console is a web-based portal that allows IT administrators to better manage their Foxit licenses on-premises or on a Foxit-hosted cloud.
After activating the Admin Console, you can manage your Foxit products Foxit PDF Editor and Editor Pro version 11.x and greater versions that you purchased through the Admin Console. You can assign authorizations to users, download, and access useful links.
