The outgoing emails can easily be customized. In this case we have changed the text of the email body for the Invitation Email.
Adding an image to the email template will let you fully customize the design.
Customize Outgoing Email Notifications
Find the Email Templates subtab under the Settings tab. Personalize the email notifications language to suit you or your organization’s style, or use the default notifications provided by Foxit eSign.
Manage Email Templates
You can create multiple new invitation templates and save and edit the other notification template language as required.
Create Customized Email Invitation Templates
Email templates help you create predefined email(s) language that you can use while sending documents for esigning.
1. Click on the ‘Email Templates’ subtab under the ‘Settings’ tab. Create multiple invitation email templates by clicking on the ‘Create New’ button in ‘All Invitation Email Templates’ section.
2. Create name, description and subject for the email notification template. Enter text for the email subject. Tip! Use ${document_title} in the subject line to automatically populate the Envelope Name.
3. Use field tags in the template by selecting ‘Use a Pre-Defined Field’, like Document Title, Receiver Name and Sender Name. These tags will be replaced by actual value when the email is sent to the user.

5. Save any Email Invitation Template as default . The Email Template will be auto-selected while sending Envelopes for all users on the account. The default email template can be used while sending documents via API, or Online Forms.
Steps to Edit Email Templates
Follow the steps to edit the Notification Templates.
- Click on the ‘Email Templates’ subtab under the ‘Settings’ tab
- Click on a template under ‘All Notification Email Templates’ to edit a Notification
- Edit as required and insert dynamic values from the database by selecting from the drop down ‘Use a Pre-Defined Field’.
- Click on ‘Update’ to save the changes.
💡Tip! Use ‘Send Sample’ button to send an email sample to preview the customized Email Notification. Hints at the bottom of the page will give you helpful information.
