For Foxit PhantomPDF version 10 and later
Starting with Foxit PhantomPDF v10, all of options for compressing PDF files size have been categorized into PDF Optimizer under File tab. Phantom users could save the PDF file using Reduce File Size/Advanced Optimization to reduce the file size. Reduce File Size will help you to quickly reduce the size of PDFs by using default settings applicable to most files. Adanced Optimization provides many professional settings for reducing the size of PDF files. You may use all of these settings or only a few to reduce the fize, which depends on how you intend to use the files. There are two optional ways to reduce the file size.
Advanced Optimization(Business/Standard)
1. Choose File > PDF Optimizer >Advanced Optimization,Advanced Optimization to open PDF Optimizer dialog. Click Audit space usage to check the space usuage for specific document elements and decide which items needed to be optimized;
2. Choose different settings according to your usage scenario.
Reduce File Size (Business/Standard)
Choose File >PDF Optimizer > Reduce File Size>select Current File or Multiple Files icon to reduce existing PDF file or multiple files in batch.
(Note: Reduce File Size is the part of Advanced Optimization function. It utilizes the default settings of Advanced Optimization.)

Phantom users could save the PDF file using PDF Optimizer/Reduce File Size to reduce the file size. PDF Optimizer provides many settings for reducing the size of PDF files.
