After purchasing subscription of Foxit PhantomPDF organization, organization manager first needs to configure team members for the organization subscription to allow them to log in and activate Foxit PhantomPDF with their respective email addresses. To add or remove a member of Foxit PhantomPDF subscription organization, please complete the following steps:
1.Log in to Foxit App Store with manager account of the organization subscription.
2.Go to Manage Organization / Members and double click on the Organization name under My Organizations.
3.In the blank field under Manage Organization Members for （***） organization member（ORG Name）, please enter the E-mail address which you would like to add him/her as a member of the origination, click on Add button. If you need to add more than one email addresses in the blank field at once, please enter them separately by semicolons (;).
You could also choose to add the email addresses of members in a CSV document firstly, and click on the Import From CSV File button to navigate to select the org members CSV file. This will help you to import all of those email addresses from the SCV document to be members of the organization.
If you don’t want the organization manager to take up one quota in the origination, please check The admin will not be involved in the project. this option.
For example: You purchased a 10 users Foxit PhantomPDF Organization subscription, you could only add 9 members into the organization at most if you have the option The admin will not be involved in the project. checked, because the organization manager is also a member in organization in this case. If you don’t have the option The admin will not be involved in the project. checked, you would be able to add 10 members in total into the organization and the Foxit account of the organization manager couldn’t be used to activate Foxit PhantomPDF.
4. To view who are the formal members in the organization already by checking their member types.
We could see the member type of each member in the added members list in Foxit App Store. Only those members whose member types is member are formal members, they could be able to activate Foxit PhantomPDF with their respective email addresses. Members whose member type is Pending means that they are still not formal members, they cannot activate Foxit PhantomPDF with their email addresses yet.
The following sections will describe why there are different member types and how to convert the pending member type into formal member:
（1） If the email address being added has already been registered as a Foxit account before, the member type of this member in the organization will display as member instantly. That is, this member is become a formal member in organization. This member would receive a notification email from Foxit with the subject line “The admin of organization ( ORG Name ) has added you into the org.”.
（2） If the email address being added hasn’t been registered as a Foxit account yet, the member type of this member in the organization will display as pending which means this member is still not a formal member. This member will receive an invitation email from Foxit which invites this member to sign up a Foxit account with the subject line “The organization ( lisaorgan ) administrator is inviting you to join.”, then this member needs to click on Sign Up button in the invitation email to register a Foxit account. This member will be the organization member automatically after then.
If the pending member somehow didn’t receive the invitation email from Foxit part or the invitation email has been deleted, the organization manager needs to send the invitation email to this member again by finding this particular pending member in the members list in Foxit App Store, then click on Actions>Resend mail which is positioned on the same line of this pending member.
If the pending member didn’t register a Foxit account by clicking on the Sign UP button the invitation email. Instead, the member created a Foxit account from Foxit website or Foxit App store after having received the invitation email. In this case, the member type for this member would still stay in pending status though Foxit account has already been created. The organization manager needs to use one of the followings methods to change this pending member which already registered a Foxit account into a formal member:
Method 1: Organization manager sends the invitation email to this member again by finding this particular pending member in the members list in Foxit App Store, then click on Actions>Resend mail which is positioned on the same line of this pending member. This member needs to click on the Accept button in the invitation email to join as a formal member of the origination.
Method 2: Organization manager removes this member from the organization by finding this particular pending member in the members list in Foxit App Store, then click on Actions>Remove from org which is positioned on the same line of this pending member. Finally, organization manager re-adds back this member into organization again in Foxit App Store. This member will be the organization formal member automatically after re-add it.
5.Remove members from Organization. To remove a member, organization manager need to find the member that need to be removed from the members list in Foxit App store, then click on Actions>Remove from org which is positioned on the same line of this member.
