In Outlook 2013/2016, when you select a PDF that is attached to an email to preview the page content, you may receive the following error message.
This file cannot be previewed because the following previewer has been disabled:
To recover the preview function, use the following procedures.
1.Run Outlook and go to File->Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Attachment Handling -> Attachment and Document preview to uncheck ‘Turn off Attachment Preview’ option.
2.Exit Foxit Reader/PhantomPDF.
3.Open Task Manager and look for if Foxit Reader/PhantomPDF executable and the FoxitPrevHost executable were still running, please end tasks on them if you can see them.
4.Go back to Outlook and click the Enable previewer button to enable it.
2.Open the Windows Task Manager, in the Processes tab, find Foxit PDF Preview Handler Host, right click on it and end it.
3.Right click on Outlook.exe, choose Run as Administrator to launch it and try to view a PDF attachment.
